After working in Chicago, Illinois and Boulder, Colorado since 2003, she and her family moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where she is now in private practice. While in Chicago, she worked extensively with the Institute for Recovery in Lake Forest, Illinois, and the Near North Montessori School in Chicago doing individual, group and family counseling.
Katy grew up in Chicago and attended both public and private schools. She received her masters degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Art Therapy from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.
